Comfort after washing is the strongest recurring favorable theme. Cleansing completeness and the feel of a low-foam wash are the more useful disagreements to consider. These archived experiences do not prove current-formula performance or skin-type suitability.
137 historical reviews analyzed; source and sample limits below. This is a limited historical sample, not comprehensive consensus.
The clearest recurring praise is that skin feels soft or hydrated rather than tight after washing. That is a reported after-feel, not a measurement of hydration or barrier repair. 4 discussions describe drying or reduced moisturization, so this is not a universal experience.
Many discussions praise cleansing, but others describe residue or incomplete makeup removal. Mixed accounts often like the cleanser while still needing another step for eye makeup or heavier makeup. These archives do not establish removal performance for a particular sunscreen.
Gentleness is praised in both attributed origin groups. Some contributors describe their own sensitive skin, but these reports do not establish suitability for every sensitive-skin condition. Unclear and mixed statements remain separate; lack of an irritation complaint is not proof of safety.
Texture is an experience tradeoff: favorable tactile descriptions coexist with complaints about a lotion-like, slippery or nonfoaming wash. Foam preference and clean-feel preference should not be treated as objective evidence of efficacy.
Some contributors favor little or no scent; others describe an unpleasant smell, and several only describe scent without a clear preference. A complaint about a particular bottle does not verify alcohol content, expiration or a formula change. A neutral no-scent description stays neutral even when the author likes the overall product.
Two discussions report new breakouts attributed by their authors to use; other statements deny new breakouts. These are uncontrolled experiences, not causal findings or an adverse-event rate. Existing-acne improvement is coded separately and cannot establish acne treatment efficacy.
Mention denominator: all 137 analyzed discussions. Every direction bar uses only that theme's confirmed mentions (M), not 137. Uncertain topic status (U) is outside the bar; unknown direction stays inside M. Topics overlap. These are sample counts, not efficacy or adverse-event rates.

137 deduplicated historical reviews were actually analyzed. These are source reviews, not independently verified people. 57 reviews date from 2018–2025; 80 reviews date from 2026. Source attribution and time are confounded; differences do not demonstrate a platform or formula effect.
Selected, truncated sample: wider archive counts are not counted as analyzed. Coverage is incomplete, so this is not comprehensive consensus. Purchase verification is unknown. Incentive and staff status is unknown for the 57 reviews dated 2018–2025; missing disclosure does not establish absence.
One 2025 contributor explicitly alleges that a newer bottle changed formulation and performed worse. Another contributor considers either reformulation or an expired bottle. These are author statements, not verified formulation changes. Origin groups and review periods are confounded; differences cannot be attributed to platform or formula.
